“The body works when you support it the way it was designed.”

Scott Sommer, LAc
Scott’s journey into health started early.
After being diagnosed with epilepsy as a child and told he might never live a normal life, he began searching for answers. Through changes in diet, lifestyle, and mindset, he was able to restore his health by age 15.
That experience shaped his life’s work.
Scott went on to study Biochemistry, Nutritional Science, and Traditional Oriental Medicine, along with advanced clinical training in kinesiology and nutrition response testing.
He has been in practice since 1998 and has helped thousands of patients, from simple concerns to complex cases, by focusing on the underlying patterns that drive health issues.
His work has been recognized nationally, and his mission remains the same: help people understand their bodies and build a plan that works.

A Different Way to Approach Health
Most people don’t come in because they need one treatment, they come in because nothing has worked long-term. At our clinic, we take a different approach.
We combine time-tested principles from ancient medicine with modern technology to build a clear, structured plan. Instead of chasing symptoms, we focus on how the body works as a system, because when one part is off, other parts are affected too.
Our goal is simple: help you understand what’s going on and guide you step by step toward better function.

In this book, Scott shares his personal journey, starting with a diagnosis of childhood epilepsy at age nine, when he was told he would never live a normal life. That moment became a turning point.
Instead of accepting that outcome, he began searching for answers. Through his father’s example and years of studying nutrition and health principles, he discovered a different path, one built on food, movement, sleep, and mindset.
By age fifteen, he was declared free of epilepsy.
That experience shaped everything that followed. Scott went on to study Chemistry, Kinesiology, Iridology, Nutrition, and Oriental Medicine, building a foundation that combines both science and traditional health principles.
In The 12 Pillars of Vibrant Health, he shares the lessons passed down from his father and grandfather, along with what he’s learned from over 28 years in clinical practice, helping thousands of patients work through complex and challenging health issues.
This book is not about quick fixes. It’s about understanding how the body works, and what it takes to build real, lasting health.
Our 12 Pillars
We teach health as a foundation-first process. These pillars are the framework that keeps everything organized and practical for our clients.
Mindset
Stress and emotions affect the body.
Water
Hydration changes energy, digestion, and detox.
Immune Balance
The goal is balance, not constant “fight mode”.
Food & Digestion
The gut impacts how you feel every day.
Weight
Often a result of deeper imbalance (sleep, stress, hormones).
Toxins & Detox
When the body’s “load” is too high, symptoms rise.
Cellular Health
Cells need support to repair and make energy.
Hormones
Affects sleep, mood, weight, and energy.
The Body Is Electric
The nervous system runs the whole show.
Energy
Real energy is built, not borrowed.
Sleep
When sleep is off, everything is harder.
Movement
The body is designed to move and recover.

What is holistic medicine?
What is holistic medicine?
Holistic medicine looks at the whole person, not just individual symptoms. It considers how different systems in the body work together; like digestion, immune function, hormones, and the nervous system.
The goal is to support the body so it can function the way it was designed to.
What types of health issues do you work with?
What types of health issues do you work with?
We work with a wide range of concerns, from complex cases to more common issues such as:
- Inflammation
- Digestive problems
- Hormone and thyroid imbalance
- Autoimmune patterns
- Fatigue and low energy
- Weight challenges
- Pain and recovery issues
Our focus is always on understanding the bigger picture behind these concerns.
How is your approach different from other clinics?
How is your approach different from other clinics?
Most clinics focus on one area or one type of treatment.
We take a structured approach by combining multiple therapies and building a plan that supports different systems in the body at the same time. This allows for a more complete and coordinated approach.
Will my plan be customized?
Will my plan be customized?
Yes. Every plan is tailored to the individual.
We take into account your symptoms, history, lifestyle, and goals to build a plan that fits you—not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Do you only use natural therapies?
Do you only use natural therapies?
We primarily use natural approaches such as whole food supplements, herbal formulas, and supportive therapies. Our goal is to work with the body, not against it.
What should I expect on my first visit?
What should I expect on my first visit?
Your first visit is focused on understanding your health history, current concerns, and goals. From there, we outline a clear plan so you know exactly what your next steps are.
Do you work with patients outside your area?
Do you work with patients outside your area?
Yes. We have patients from across the country and internationally. We use a combination of in-person care and technology to support those who are not local.
